Canadian Etsy Finds

I'm still a little in denial that Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is coming up quickly but I have started to think about gift ideas for Christmas. I HATE last minute shopping so I'm trying to get motivated. One year I was completely done shopping before Thanksgiving...it was miracle and has never happened again.

One of my favourite places to find unique gifts is on Etsy but the with the exchange rate being so bad (for us Canadians) it's making the task a little more challenging and expensive this year. To counteract that and also lower the shipping costs (usually) I've searched out a few shops that are Canada based. Now just a note, I haven't bought items from all of these but the ones I have are great and the others all have very positive reviews so I'm confident listing them here.

Let me know how your shopping is going and if you have any great Canadian Etsy finds list them in the comments.

FauxKiss - Original prints done on vintage dictionary pages or sheets of music. I absolutely love these and have a couple picked out I want for my house and will also be ordering some as gifts when I finally decided which ones.

Moonlight for Violet - Clay filled geometric jewelry. The stud earrings I have from this ship are some of my favourites and I wear them a ton. I'm a fan of the cute shapes and punchy colours!

Femme Mecanique Designs - Sustainable jewelry with nature inspired minimalist designs. I haven't ordered anything from this shop (yet) but have my eye on a couple of her rings.

Skin Care
SoulEssentials Natural & Organic Skin Care - All natural skin care products included moisturizer, deodorant, lip balms and more. I absolutely love the lip balms from this shop (the Chai Spice is my fave), plus there's a deal on them right now so go stock up!

The WASH Shop -  Handmade soaps made with all natural ingredients. These soaps make the list because not only are they great but they have a selection of scents that the bf will use. I find that lots of handmade soaps are too fruity or flowery but with scents like Basil Lemon or Cedarwood he'll jump on board.

Cell Phone Cases
Field Trip - She has some of the cutest phone cases around and also sells mouse pads and typography posters. There's cases for iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones so if you've got one of those (or have someone on your gift list who does) check them out.

Kitchen Products
LoveMyLocal - Province/Country shaped cheese boards. This is something I would never buy for myself but would make a great gift for that person on your list who is impossible to buy for.
